The Heavenly Kids Technical College is looking for qualified and committed teachers to join our team as soon as possible.

We are looking for specialists for the following subjects:

Physics, Biology, Agricultural science, Government, Marketing, Civic Education, Basic Science and Technology, Social Studies and Computer Science/ICT

• Planning, implementation and follow-up of lessons in accordance with the applicable curricula
• Individual support and supervision of pupils
• Participation in school projects, conferences and development processes
• Cooperation within the teaching staff as well as with parents and other school partners

Your profile

• Completed teaching degree or a qualification recognized as equivalent
• Professional and pedagogical competence
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Willingness to continuously develop in the pedagogical field

But that’s not all: Charles is our 2023 Jim Casey Community Service Award winner, UPS’s highest community service honor, recognizing employees who embrace our long legacy of volunteerism and giving back.

An act of service: Charles believes education is key to unlocking new opportunities. Determined to make a difference in his community, he secured a personal bank loan to build Heavenly Kids Technical College.

“We offer carpentry, electrical installation, shoemaking, fashion design and catering programs,” said Charles. “When companies eventually start flowing into Enugu, my school will have the first edge to provide skilled workers.”

To support the school’s needs, Charles selflessly downsized his life in Düsseldorf, Germany. He sends a portion of his salary back home to provide an income for staff members and resources for students.

“I took it upon myself to make a change. And my contribution is using all the money I earn from UPS to build the school for my people,” added Charles. “The children smiling is the payback I want in my life. I want to see the children happy.”
